HDMI to VGA Input lag?

Hello, Recently i upgraded to gtx 1080ti, and im kind of? feeling an input lag, its microscopic but it feels like its there, how much conversion lag would a HDMI to VGA converter produce? similar to this:

It will add a bit of lag for sure since it's an active converter the signal has to be processed.

 

Also, why are you using an HDMI to VGA on a 1080Ti?!?! Just for another screen right?

no, its hooked up to LG TV "32" which im using as main, and it doesent really have DVI input, only HDMI/VGA/RGB and well HDMI looks horrible, even with the correct settings in pc mode the image is still tad distorted, previously i used DVI-I to VGA with nearly no input lag, but then again DVI-I supports analog signal and DVI-D doesent. ok looks like vsync was making it noticable, with vsync off the lag poofed...
