Monitor recommendation

So I'm looking for a monitor. I'm looking for at 2560x1440 resolution screen at 144Hz (or 120Hz) with G-sync if possible but that's not essential at a 27" screen size.

Best one I have seen so far is the ASUS ROG Swift PG278QR at £584.98 on amazon (UK) and was wondering if you guys had any recommendations on alternatives. I don't mind compromising on g-sync or refresh rate so long as it's 1440p at higher than 60Hz at 27".

Thanks a lot in advance!

Is the Pixio PX277 avalible over there? They sell it on amazon in the US in any event

1440p 144hz IPS for $399, has free-sync

A quick look on the part picker tells me you're pretty screwed on selection over there, you can get a TN free-sync display for under 400 GBP though, otherwise it's like 500-550 for IPS models

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Having a look I can't get that monitor over here in the UK. I have seen an AGON by AOC. The AGON AG271QG. 165Hz, 1440p, G-Sync, IPS for £559.99 so right now I'm thinking this might be the best option. I will hold off though until I get a good grasp on what everyone thinks.

Also any price under £600 I'm ok with (so around ~$700)

Currently have a 7700K OC'd to 4.7GHz and a 1080Ti FTW3.

I found that AGON monitor where I work and managed to get it for a lower price so I've already bought it. Thank you for your help though!
