Is the bitspower silicone insert (10mm variant) for bending hard tubing compatible with 10/12mm EK HD acrylic tube?

The product page says no, however this seems unjustified. The actual diameter of the EK insert is stated as 9.4mm and the bitspower one is 9mm. This may make the bends crush a bit more, but 0.4mm....

Has anyone tried this? I know the EK ones come with other stuff, but I have much better saws and a plethora of sandpaper, so it'll just sit in a box.

I have the Alphacool's silicone insert which is 9.4mm in diameter. I've bended some Bitspower crystal link 10/12mm tubing with that. The insert was a little bit loose inside the tubing making the bends crush a little bit but not to much.

I think it will be worse with a 9mm insert .
