Looking for a new monitor

Hey guys,

 

Could you please recommend a good monitor that fits my needs:

 

- productivity first, lots of screen space

- easy on the eyes

- movies

- light gaming (wow, dota2, total war, civ5)

- large bastard (34"-40")

- futureproof?

 

In all the monitor reviews I've seen so far there's always something missing/wrong... Money is not much of an issue, I'll stretch as far as 1.5k$ if it means I'll get to work in comfort for the next 5 years.

 

Is there anything on the market that you think would fit my needs or should I just wait for something to turn up.
