Logitech G903 reliability

To people who are using the G903 how is the reliability of the scroll button? All the logitech mouses i have ever used had the same problem for me, the scroll button breaks as in at 1 point i just starts freely spinning around and does not understand if i scroll up or down just goes both ways randomly.

(I know they have an option to free scroll or like mechanical feel, but that mechanical usually always gives in)

 

I am thinking of getting the G903 and the mousepad but worried about the scroll button.
