Gamemode not working?

So i have a problem, Because i have lower spec laptop i wanted to utilize that windows gamemode to get few more fps in csgo, but its not working. I have A4-5000 apu, 4gb of ram and 8570m gpu. When i press win+g nothing happens. i guess game bar should appear but nothing. In settings game mode seems to be on but there is no difference in performance. Is it maybe because i nuked xbox app? because i nuked it cuz i thought i'll never use it. Im running win 10 v1703 15063.674 and steam version of csgo running fullscreen on 720. Any help please?
