An alternative software

I just did the latest updates to Adobe Reader. However, I cannot open one pdf format document which was emailed to me on my laptop. A warning message: 'PDF file is not readable'. So I am looking for some pdf opening alternatives..

I used Foxit Reader at a past job because of issues with Adobe. No complaints.

Upload and view in Google docs or a google app PDF viewer called Kami. Or try Soda PDF for desktop
