Phoenix Wright - The Submerged Turnabout

I do not know if any of you are following the Madsen story?

But in short this is what happend:

1. Madsen is an inventor that and a bit eccentric. He became know because of his private build subs. And his drive to get into space.
2. On August 10 he left with journalist Kim Wall on his sub the UC3 Nautilis
3. 11 August, the sub sinks. Madsen is rescued but no sign of Kim Wall.
4. The "fun" begins, his first statement is that he dropped her off on a small island.
5. 2nd statement: She was hit on the head by a door and died on the sub, he gave her a seaman's grave.
6. Body parts start to pop up in the water, Madsen says he did that to get her to sink.
7. Head shows up, no damage done (besides the beheading) so that rules out the heavy metal door that "hit her on the head"
8. Body parts show multiple stab wounds, specially round the genital area.
9. From his workplace hard drive were searched and on it police found movies about woman getting killed.
10. In light of all this he has yet again changed his story: She died from carbon monoxide poisoning and he chopped her up to give here a seaman's grave.
11. But... he didnt kill her  

For some reason i am starting to look at this like a Phoenix Wright episode. It is as weird as one of those games  Only thing missing is someone he blames it on.

He didn't claim he dropped her off on a small island.

The place he claimed he dropped her off is a part of a large-ish island, and the place is pretty closely packed with restaurants, clubs and culture venues, which is why it was easy for the police to rule it out.

Considering how many times he changes his story, he's obviously lying through his teeth.
Because who has a dead body on their hands in 2017 and actually think it's remotely acceptable to chop it off into pieces and dump it into the sea.

A burial at sea doesn't involve any god damn chopping off.

 

IMO, the guy raped her before stabbing her multiple times in the genital area, trying to get rid of his DNA that was inside, then figured it wasn't gonna work so may as well chop her off into pieces and dump her into the sea.

I can't see this guy getting off scot-free from this, like most clients of Phoenix Wright.
