Gigabyte Saber 17 RGB backlight problem

Hi all

 

So i just bought myself the Gigabyte Saber 17-G https://www.gigabyte.com/Laptop/Sabre-17#kf 
I've come across a problem when it comes to it's RGB backlit keyboard. So at the moment it seems that the keyboard has a white backlight and software was supplied to change the color of this backlight. So the software is called Hotkey that comes with Control Center and FlexiKey. Now flexikey is the app that is responsible for the RGB controller. The only problem is that flexikey doesn't have the option for me to change the backlight color of the keyboard. 

I had to install a clean version of windows. Could it be a driver issue?

 

Could there also be a non-rgb backlit variant? 

 

If anyone has faced a problem similar to this please help me out if possible.

yes there are two varient 15 inch with gtx1050 has only white backlit keyboard 17" has rgb. 1050ti 15 has rgb amd so does 17 inch 1050ti..... also windows update to 1709 causes you to lose backlight altogether stick to 1703 untill they fix the software. ultimatly you can run recovery and restore back to factory.

if you have the 17 inch version you should have rgb

Hi, I am having same problem, I think the version we have it the Sabre 17G

mine was working fine then same as OP, I had to reinstall windows and feature was gone. When I installed software from the website it did not give me option to change key colours.
