free video editing software?

I use lightworks.  Best free editing software I know of.  It's pretty over the top but the learning curve isn't that bad.

If you're using Windows, you can get Windows Live Movie Maker through Essentials: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/essentials

And by over the top i mean it has a lot more funtionality than say imovie does.
