Hello,

I have a razer man o war wirless headset.

when my headset is on i hear a really quiet hard to explain sound, someone told me it might be static sound so i looked up static sound examples on google but i could only find static sounds from older tv's etc.

Is there someone that also has this issue or that can confirm that this is static sound in a headset.

It's not out of the question that there's some kind of interference causing a bit of static or a hiss, since it is a wireless headset after all.

There are many different types of static sound even today. For example

-the electromagnetic field inside your PC can cause noise. Happens to me because i use a SLI and have an intern PCIE Soundcard

-The Cable from a headphone can interfere with other cables that have curred flow thou. That creates a magnetic field causing interference

-for wifi headphones it's the same but instead of magnetic interference from cables it can be caused from wifi signals (even technical speaking it is also a magnetic interferes in some way)

-and the headphone speaker it self is another place

-not to forget your hearing. Like the saying, when you hold a shell on your ear you hear the see. that is also some sound that is generated.

most of the companies producing headphones have to fight with these and that is also one thing that differs a low quality headphone from a bit more expensive one. They invest in shielding there devices.

try to remove your device a far as possible form all electronic. Check the headphone itself. Only power your headphone without the Computer and try to head the noise. Move around in your flat to see if it's only at one spot, so you  can see what is causing the sound.

yeah i have one to a not so strong one, but if it is realy quite i can hear a high pitch sound all the time.

Yeah it has to be quiet for me aswell but i did spend a lot of extra cash on a silent PC, So this is kinda annoying.

Anyway I contacted Razer support they told me to return it to the re seller and if i didn't get a refund contact them again with the same case_id
