Hey guys, I'm freaking out right now. I've built my computer completely, but when I boot it up, it works fine, but it always boots into my motherboard uefi instead of windows, and I don't know how to get into windows. The SSD I'm using already has windows on it, and steam, and stuff. I just need to get into windows. I have the Ryzen B350 Tomahawk Arctic Motherboard. Please help I'm going to be sick if I have spent all this money and I cant get into windows

You did not say whether or not the SSD was original or if it came from another system.  Also, did you check the BIOS to see if the SSD was set as the boot device?  Did you install Windoze with a Windows Media Creation Tool?  A little more information would really help.  Were all the parts to your system original?

Was it a prebuilt system?

You need to set it as the boot priority

That is weird, it should auto-detect it as the main boot drive. Maybe double check in the BIOS and make sure it's set that way?

Is it plugged into SATA_1 on the motherboard? That was an issue when I built my first rig. Is there another hard drive plugged in as well?

If you go into the BIOS, and go into Boot Options or Advanced Boot Options(something similar to that), there's an option in there to set main boot drive

Go into the bios and find singing along the lines of boot priority, or hard disk priority. Then set it to either sata or the name is your SSD, whichever it shows.

ssd is the only form of storage i have plugged in right now. turns out i have 4 sata ports. I either just plugged it in to slot 1 or 2, if it doesnt boot correctly ill flip it to the other one

its in the sata 1 port. for some darn reason when i had it in the  sata 4 port, my bios detected it, but when its in sata 1 its saying literally nothing is plugged in (when it was in sata 4 and detected, i just wanted to know how to boot windows from there.)

see if the bios uefi is set to uefi, maybe change it to legacy ,

if that fails try entering the bios and changing the hdd mode from AHCI to IDE or other way around ,

When all else fails, use a Windows Media Creation Tool to reinstall Windows with only the SSD installed.  The rest will basically take care of itself provided the SSD is plugged into the SATA1 port and the system is set to UEFI and AHCI.  What confused the works is that you installed Windows on the SSD while the SSD was plugged into a different system then moved that SSD to the current system.

so when it detected did it boot  ? im thinking not so make sure (as everyone else said) set it as boot disk ,
and check the disk operation mode is set to the same as the machine it was set up on , either ide or ahci

now im really confused. it could detect my ssd the very first time i did this. I move the ssd to every single sata port. and neither of them work. i have 4 sata ports. none of them are detecting the ssd. im literally about to cry

dude if your still having issues just make a usb drive installer , using "wintousb" , set the boot drive to the usb drive , ensure the ssd is installed and detected , then boot from the usb drive and instrall windows directly using the new system

install windows on the new PC, so wipe the SSD clean and then plug it in and then use a USB to install windows, assuming you have a product key.

if windows was installed on the SSD by a store and not you then you might have to buy a new windows key becase its a OEM version that you cant transfer to a new motherboard

it doesn't matter what SATA port you SSD is connected to, they all the do the same thing its so you have more than one port so you can plug in more then one SATA device. think of it like a USB port.
