Ryzen prefers higher speed RAM also, try going for 2666 minimum.

Im assuming it is for gaming, get the ryzen 1600, 50% more cores for a small price increase. Also go with the fastest ram that is not overpriced (Ryzen needs fast ram). 2666 is ok, 3000 would be good, 3200 does sometimes not work without fiddling around.

A 550W PSU would be fine, 600 is overkill. Also try to get 3000mhz RAM, because ryzen loves fast ram. Depending on your budget, you might also want to look at a faster/larger SSD, perhaps from crucial or samsung.

HEADS UP, THIS ACCOUNT IS INACTIVE NOW

I'm keeping everything else the way it was for anyone who might check out my answers in future, but I won't be using LTT.

Hey all,

I know this is a stale topic but I am building my first rig and am shooting for a well rounded finished product. See the link below for my parts list. The only thing missing would be the corsair fan controller commander pro.

Let me know what you think and if there are any swaps I should consider. Btw, I know the fans are excessive but I love the look of the dual RGB light loops.

Thanks all.

General nerd and I work in corporate finance. Happy to help!

I wasn’t trying to hijack anything. Figured it would be more efficient to respond on an existing post rather than create an identical one that will clog up the forums.

Thanks for the input though.
