Hey guys, where do these headers go? They come from my case RGB LED (Phanteks enthoo evolv ATX) and go to my motherboard I guess (Maximus X Hero). I thought they go into the RGB header but it doesn't really feel like a fit, do these go into the RGB headers?

Well, there's only one way it goes in... It's like a 4 pin fan connector.

It feels for sure wrong, it feels like im grinding away the pins when I plug it in. If I move the pins slightly at all, they come out

Is the port you are trying this one:

Note that pic is not of your mobo model. Just a reference to what the port looks like.

just making sure.

Yup, it looks like that (but it's white). It really doesn't feel normal to put in, I've taken several components and wires out to get a good angle but it jut won't go in without falling out instantly

Hmm.. that is strange. At this point I’m really not sure. Sorry.

It wont work. You need phanteks adapter to make it work with mobo

Could you elaborate? How do you know this?

I have a phanteks case. The end you're showing is for the Phanteks RGB strip or Phanteks RGB adapter that matches the cable for mobo. Never plug the one in the photo into your mobo, because you will kill the header on the mobo or further damage it.
