Posted October 23, 2017 I have 3 builds that I am looking at. Just wanted some peoples thoughts on which one is the best. Option 1: Prebuilt system from MSY http://www.msy.com.au/viconline/mspec-gaming-pc/20266-mspec-infinity-gaming-system-amd-edition.html Option 2: PC Partpicker build guide https://au.pcpartpicker.com/guide/xDNnTW/gaming-streaming-and-editing-build Option three: This thing https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/CZyZhq I need this pc mostly for multimedia purposes, although I would like to start playing more games. Ideally I want to be able to run 3D rendering programs smoothly, edit large premiere pro/after effects files and play games like PUBG with good frame rate on highish settings. My budget is about 2.5k AUD but isn't set in stone. Please let me know if you need any more info.
 Posted October 23, 2017 Your own build but I would suggest a Noctua rather than the AIO since I'm fairly sure the D15 will perform better than the one you've selected.

Yeah agree, or if not the NH-U12S is still good "Make it future proof for some years at least, don't buy "only slightly better" stuff that gets outdated 1 year, that's throwing money away" @pipoawas -Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks). Mention me if you want to summon me sooner or later Spoiler My head on 2019 : Note 10, S10, Samsung becomes Apple, Zen 2, 3700X, Renegade X lol
 Posted October 23, 2017 Keep in mind that the AM4 socket has a different mounting system so you'll have to get the AM4 version.

Posted October 23, 2017 https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6MXpXH This is an RGB build which has a 1700 and a high-resolution monitor. It also has a 1080ti even though I know many people now will tell me to switch the 1080ti with a higher refresh rate monitor. You can do it, okay? JK! Posted October 23, 2017 because your workload is multimedia and multimedia optimize more cores the ryzen is cheaper than the i7 so iwould go with the ryzen "Make it future proof for some years at least, don't buy "only slightly better" stuff that gets outdated 1 year, that's throwing money away" @pipoawas -Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).
