My budget for speakers is at the 500ish range and that's for both speakers,

If anyone recommends anything better just post it in the replies, I'm asking some things about the 2 speakers I posted like:

-Wattage

-Is is good for parties

-Do I need an amp?

I currently have some 1000 Watt ones but they're powered off a car stereo xD seems to work pretty well but I need more portability and these things are not good at it

These speakers would be more appropriate for a very large party. Possibly even out doors. I cannot comment on quality or performance since I've never even heard of this brand.

If you are looking for speakers to use at a house party, I would recommend something smaller.

Yes of course you will need a separate amplifier for these speakers. You may even need an amplifier for each one depending on how loud you want to go. They are quite efficient at 105 dB, but that's still a lot of speaker to drive for a simple receiver to handle.

Those look like someone decided to put some drivers in a box, and you would need an amplifier for them. Also, as they've only got two 12'' drivers they won't hit very low. For that budget you're better off looking for something powered, the Behringer B215D would fill your budget and be a better option. You would probably also want to invest in some speaker stands.

Of course this does depend on what you're trying to do, where and for how many people...
