Hi I have an i5 7600, msi GeForce gtx 1060 6gb, ddr4 ram 16gb and I cant load the sims 4 it says:

Unable to start:

Cant run the sims with the video card in the system please check the card meets the minimum specifications and all the drivers are up to date. The a lot of random numbers..

Are your drivers up to date? You can get the latest from here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Make sure to quote or tag people, so they get notified.

I am really sorry but not sure what that means or how to do that but it's a brand new computer

Here's a link https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Basically you go into safe mode and run this program that completely uninstalls your Graphics drivers.

After that you can go ahead and reinstall them and see if it fixes your problem.

Just in case you don't know how to enter safe mode here's how: https://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm

 

If you bought the game then you most likely have all the other necessary things already to run the game but if you pirated it (Which is fine) then you might need to download DirectX or something like that.

Make sure to quote or tag people, so they get notified.

it was bought today and I think going into safe mode and deleting things is a little too advanced for me
