Dear Forum Members,

 

Do you often watch the WAN Show?

Linus mentioned in one of the last WAN shows this: "I think Last pas auto rejects you the fist password that you put in." Or something along those lines.

So I noticed this to, is anybody else experiencing this?

Yup it's a bug i've been seeing for a long time now. It's not rejecting the first password. If it was a correct password, you're still actually logged in. It just tells you it was wrong.

Not sure what a poll here is going to do about it though?

Maybe everyone who's affected should post in this thread (unless there's another which wouldnt surprise me) instead and get some traction on it.

They were talking if rejecting correct pw at first try would be good security measure or not. I haven't seen this actually being a thing.
