Corsair Sabre RGB Stopped working.

Erbyy

So about a year ago i purchased the Corsair Sabre RGB gaming mouse. Everything has been amazing until today. I left for work around 4pm CST this afternoon, shut down the pc. Then came home powered up the system and noticed the mouse was blinking white on the DPI, Logo, and Scroll wheel. Went into CUE (the latest version) and noticed there was an update, so i did it. it completed, but showed the mouse as greyed out and i was unable to change anything. Updated again, same thing. The update is still an option. I go into windows devices and notice there is a driver error, but i just updated the drivers manually and it still shows this. Any ideas? I've tried everything i can think of. (rebooted, uninstalled cue, tried 3 different ports including PS2, downgraded a version of CUE.)

HELP ME!!

The update seems to have broken your driver, or a corrupted update.

This is a suggestion  (disclaimer here )

1) do you have a spare mouse. In case

2) you need to remove the driver of your mouse

3) Go to device manager

4) If you do not know how -- go --Start - Type device manager

5) Go to mouse in the list  - mice and other pointing devise

6) The mouse you are using should be there. In the list  ex : Corsair gaming mouse

7) Left clic on name of your mouse. Name will turn blue

8) Next right clic on you mouse , You will get a menu

9) At this point you have 2 options . Do update driver, or remove the driver.

10) Try update drive first and see if that fix it.

11) If you still have problem do Uninstall device

10 ) Restart you computer . Keep mouse plug in .

11) Windows should see your mouse as a new device and try to find driver for it

Hope this help

  • 4 years later...

Mine had the same problem, fixed it today. mouse would only work when plugged in but I went into Icue and clicked on the USB receiver and their is a connections settings tab for the receiver. All I had to do was just re-pair the mouse to the receiver through those settings. Now working just fine. Probably not a guarantee for everyone but is worth a try if having same issues.
