First budget gaming PC

I am trying to make myself a budget gaming PC. I do not have a set budget however i want to spend around £500 (however i could go over.) So far this is what I have put together:

However I want to know if there is something I am doing wrong or if I should be spending my money differently. 

The PC will be used mostly for gaming however I may have to do some work on it for college. I do not need to worry about other peripherals and monitors as i can get them cheap. I will also be putting windows 10 on it but I already have that.

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

if you could find 3000MHz RAM that would be nice, but only if the difference in price is small. Do pick a decent brand though, ryzen can be a little difficult with RAM (g.skill is fine, corsair is also very good)

It looks reasonable to me, I might spend a bit more on the PSU but I might not as well you shouldn't need more than that.

looks good however u might wanna swap out that ssd to a samsung ssd :v

Thanks i will keep that in mind with the RAM. About the SSD i just tried to find the cheapest one that I could however i will look at Samsung.

Thanks. It just depends on whether I can get some extra money to go from 120GB to 250GB

Well a 250gb ssd would be nice but not necessary, the main thing you have to put on the ssd is windows and 120gb should be plenty for it

Why not used components? Otherwise it looks good. As for screens etc. i would actually recommend going AMD GPUbecause if you get your hands on a freesync monitor you saved yourself the g-sync chip which is kinda expensive.

I did look at that however whenever I think about used components I worry that they are not going to last as long or that they are just going to be slower than newer shop bought components.
