so i own this acer aspire e5-473 series laptop and found this thing it's a drive cage in a shape of a CD drive that i can insert in my laptop and i'm asking if it is worth money to spend that on that drivebay and get a 250gb ssd and use two drives in  a laptop

Why not just get an external SSD? This sounds more expensive than just getting an external SSD.

i just hatte carrying around accessories for my laptop with wires that's y im just getting that CD bay for the ssd it costs $8.5 and ssd over $110.63 (converted into Philippine Peso)

Oh, nevermind then. I'm used to wired, well, everything. But if it only costs 8.5 peso for the cage, why not. Make sure your cage doesn't fall out though, I know some people who've had their cd drive fall out.

a little ductape never hurt anyone JK there's a bracet with a screw on my cd drive i can just move that over so i can screw it down to the chassis

Yes, and if you need more storage duct tape ssds to your laptop case and plug them in when you need them. But in all seriousness, I didn't know these existed and thats actually pretty cool, good luck!
