Dead Pixel?

DEAD/HOT Pixel

 

So yeah the titel pretty much says it, i have a problem that a dot is totaly RED, but only on Black and darker Grey. If the Background is White it dosnt show up.
My display is the "AOC G2770PF".

Any ideas how i could solve this problem, besides doing an RMA?

If its white then it also "shows up" it just does not matter at that point.

It means the pixel is stuck at red, white is red, green, blue all lit at once  

 

You can try rubbing the pixel with your finger gently. Other then that you can RMA it IF you have a warranty for 0 dead pixels.

Most LCD screens have a policy that excludes single stuck pixels and will only replace if it is a cluster or a certain amount.

So.. now it taped it slightly a few times now its kinda white/greenish..
