Wrong default program for a file on Windows 10

I accidently set the default program to open .sfk files (what Sony Vegas uses to read media) to Photoshop. It's not really a problem, except the icon for all of these files now is the Photopshop icon. Is there a way to reverse this change, effectively setting the default program a file runs with to "none?" Thanks!

You can only change what it points to, not remove it afaik. Open the Windows Settings menu, in the search bar type "Default," click on default app for file type, click on the file type you want changed and change it to something else. There's probably a way to manually remove the association but I don't know it.

To set it to "none" you might need to edit the windows registry editor, this is not recommended for non-advanced users.

If you have Windows 10 then going to settings - apps - standard apps - set by file type you can change any and all file associations to which ever program you want. I do not remember "none" being an option though it might.

Hope that helps :)
