Any advice on the build. trying to build a pc to game at 144hz. what games ill be playing, well i play all from indie games right up to AAA games.

I'm from the caribbean and i use eastern caribbean dollar (XCD) the conversion is 1 USD = 2.7 XCD. My budget is around the $2000 US dollar range.

i pick these parts so i can get it for my budget now and i can always up grade if i want too.

Don't get the 7600K. Get the 8400 and a Z370 motherboard instead. That should cost less, and will have better performance.

With the 8400 you can use the stock cooler. 240mm AiOs are dumb, imo. A cheaper air cooler will deliver the same performance, be quieter, and more reliable.

Don't get an NVMe drive for gaming. It will make no difference in loading times, and no difference in time to start Windows.

Don't get a WD Black HDD. Just get a higher capacity HDD. Just make sure it's 7200 RPM with ≥64MB cache.

Get a 1080.

That's a really expensive case. Maybe the P400/S, Define C, Meshify C or RL06 would be more sensible?

750W is way overkill. 550W is plenty, even after overclocking, and with a 1080 Ti.

For ~$150 more, you could get a 165Hz 1440p G-sync monitor.

That's a really expensive keyboard. There are lots of decent keyboards for less.

:)

Where will you be buying from? Will yoy be buying parts from the US? If so, what will you be paying in tax/shipping?

Its very likely that a 2000USD system isnt going to be within your 5400XCD budget.

Ah, well stick with that then.

yup. K95 is a waste of money.

You can easily OC the QX2710 between 96-120Hz. On top of that, its a better quality monitor, with a greater resolution and is IPS as opposed to TN, so far better colours and viewing angles. You can even get the QX2710 for $170-180 from Newegg sometimes.

ew, god no. Its significantly worse. Its worse than $20 coolers like the M9i/M9a, Raijintek Aidos, and Pure Rock(Slim).

Yes, its everyones recommendation. Kaby Lake makes no sense whatsoever. Even if Coffee Lake wasnt an option, Kaby Lake still wouldn't make sense.

i never recommended white case fans. As for GPU, youre not really gonna notice the white but you can get an EVGA 1070 for $420/425 so maybe that instead.

i looked it up the case comes with white led fans

No, it doesnt come with any. Buy some decent case fans, like Pure Wings 2 or Silent Wings 3. Dont spend an extra 30% for the Corsair case, which is literally the exact same case.

*edit* screwed the maths up big time. Its almost 50% more for the Corsair case lmfao, even worse.
