Hey guys I've run into a little problem.

When I tried to test boot my old motherboard with processor and RAM which was just working 3 months ago, I ran into a problem where it won't let me boot and it will say USB device over current status detected!!
I had moved it to a new case and yes I was using motherboard standoffs so nothing would short. Then I took it out when I bought a new PSU for it and placed it on the PSU's box as a non conductive surface to test.

Asus H61M-E
8GB RAM

Intel Pentium G2020
Thermaltake PowerLite 550W

If anyone could help, it'd be appreciated. Thanks!

First step: Unplug every peripheral, except the display and try again. If this doesn't solve the problem, try disconnecting internal usb-devices, like front-panel-usb-connectors, rgb-leds or pump-control. If the issue still persists, you have probably a short in your board or one of the usb-connectors.

You might be able to fix that too, but troubleshooting a mainboard is a little more complicated, so we worry about that, when step 1 and 2 failed :)

There were no peripherals when I tested and it's on a cardboard box right now as I said. Just the Display and the PSU connected to the board. I checked the USB ports on the board and there were no bends so I'm not sure what else is wrong so yeah. Steps one and two failed. xD
