cpu overheating help or cpu fan messing up?

my CPU used to be idle at around 28-33c and now its at 35-40, and when it on for 3-5 plus hours on its a 46-50 it used to be like at 22-30 so i don't know whats going on is it the cpu fan or??

CPU cooler :cooler master hyper 212 plus (only one fan)

Could be a dust buildup in the case and in particular between the CPU heat-sink fins stopping airflow over the cooler so a good dusting with some compressed air never hurts.

If not that it could be that the heat-sink has either come a little loose or the thermal paste has started to decay meaning that the contact between the two surfaces isn't as good as it could be so re-seating the cooler with some new thermal paste could be the solution.

It could be the dust accumulated in your cpu cooler that is causing these results or it could be your thermal compound that is causing this to have these temps. Try to apply new thermal compound + reseating your cooler and clean your computer to see if that helps the temps.
