I did buy this computer on a budget so i was kind cheap with some things. Now i need advise on what to upgrade next.

I'd upgrade out of necessity not boredom.

Does this system leave something to be desired when using? If so what is it?

This is YOUR system.

Just now, Frolist said:

yeah will it needs it i cant play many games correctly like pubg or csgo am not doing this bc am just bored of its that i just get frustrated when it comes to game not running smoothly.

Examples and more specific descriptions. I am just as smart as with your initial post since I was pretty sure you are unsatisfied. Otherwise you would not be here.

Now you have to explain what you are unsatisfied with and maybe we can come up with a solution.

What monitor/refresh rate are you running? Are you interested in 144Hz. It can be very nice from playing fast paced FPS

Right now am not running a expensive monitor I think the default is like 60Hz. But what am trying to say is that. I need to know whats the best thing to do to my pc to have a better and smoother experience on games. I feel like maybe I miss matched components that bottleneck the whole system.

Fix it before you upgrade. If you cant play CSGO, there's a problem with your system. MINIMUM logical upgrade is an i5-8400 for CPU, or GTX 1070 for GPU. Neither of which are necessary for 1080p 60Hz whatsoever.

Honestly, at most, Id swap out that i5 for a Xeon E3-1230 V3 or E3-1231 V3 and maybe up the 970 to a 980Ti if you can find one at a decent price, probably used.

Intel Core i7-4790k @ 4.7GHz | Asus Maximus VII Hero | NZXT Kraken X61 | 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro(Red) @ 1866MHz | 2TB Seagate Barracuda | 250GB Samsung 850-EVO | 2- way SLI Asus Strix GTX 970's @ 1500MHz | EVGA 750W G2 | NZXT H440(black/red) | 3x120mm Sharkoon Shark Blade fans(red) | 3x140mm Be Quiet! i have tried fixing it but every time a new update the games dose. I drop frames then I have to re-optimize the game. For example csgo, it has very frequent updates, and everytime there is one. I have to be messing with the settings even tho i run it at very low setting i still get frame issues. I feel like i shouldent be strugeling soo much with the set up rn.
