pci-x speed

quick question that I'm having a hard time finding a simplified answer on. How much faster is pci-x over pci? specifically pci-x 1.0 which (i think) is what my server uses.

 

I tried reading the pci-x wiki page but it seems to say the maximum speed is either 1gb or 2-4gb in two different sections so it's somewhat confusing what it's speed really is.

The only thing I seem to understand so far is pci-e 1.0 @ 1x is 250mbps while standard pci is 133mbps , so I'm wondering what pci-x would be then?

Also, pcie 1.0 is 250Mbyte/s and not mbps. 

3.0 even is close to 1GB/s

So then what Bitrate does your server board use? And at what frequency does the Pci-x slot operate?
