Computer crashes after ~5 minutes of Assetto Corsa

Synawke

After playing Assetto Corsa for about 5-10 minutes the whole computer will freeze and crash. sound starts playing in an infinite loop, things on screen freeze, I cant do anything unless turn computer off by button. Everything is completely unresponsive. I recently got a racing wheel for racing sims and I would really like to be able to play this game. Any known fixes or ideas?

Did you overclock the CPU or GPU? If you have an Intel CPU, is multi core enhancement enabled?

:)

GPU isnt overclocked. CPU is but barely. a 4790k @4.6. It has always been stable though.

Some applications are are sensitive than others. You can try stock clocks, and check if it still crashes. If it does, I don't know
