I decided to get ubuntu 16.04 for my newest pc and i got it onto a usb device and booted from it. i got to the option screen to either pick "try ubuntu" or "install ubuntu"

whenever i click install ubuntu it never loads it just keeps processing ive tried 2 usb devices with same error

iirc you can still install ubuntu from there as well.

That's what I do regardless since sometimes you need to use another program while it's working, like calculator, maybe firefox, etc.
