100% Disk usage to 20%disk usage

So i got my brand new pc last week https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8xyCHN on exactly this day. I have installed like 8 games AAA titles and a couple of mobas, drivers and an antivirus, avast to be precise. I somehow realized I had 100% disk usage with just me looking at desktop, disabled superfetch and windows search with massive results 5% disk usage. After rebooting I got that horrible 100% disk usage again. Got mad and uninstalled the antivirus. BOOM! 0-5% disk usage and sometimes 50-80% when intense gaming but never 100%. Now I downdoaded bitdefender free edition with shields on is 20-25% while navigating the web. Should I go for a subscription with this one, or is still pretty high ?

You probably got rid of Avast because it was doing a perfectly normal and legitimate background scan of your computer. If you'd had given it an hour or two it more than likely would have stopped and gone back to normal.

Umm, it’s been like this for 5 days. I think 5 days are more than enough for a system scan ?

Soooo, is 20% disk usage ok? And also it’s 100% disk usage while system scanning but I guess that’s normal. How much do you have ?
