Widescreen Setup

Hey guys,

 

I was just wondering if there is an optimal setup for a widescreen, triple monitor setup. I currently have all 3 monitors plugged into one video card. I'm currently running two SLI GTX 1070s. The question is should I have them all plugged into one card or have one monitor plugged into the second card and the other two into the the other one? Does it make a difference? Does it run better? Am I wasting my time? As the PC master race we strive for the best performance! Just wanted to know if anyone has ever tried this.
