Dell Service Tag

Hey guys,

Finally got my Dell P2314H, quite happy with it. Except now I have another problem, I'm trying now to register my Dell monitor and it's asking for a Service Tag, however I don't what this Service Tag is or where to find it. So, anyone who has ever bought from Dell can you please tell me what this Service Tag is and where I can find it.

The Dell Service Tag helps you to quickly get support for your device.

 

When you call tech support they easily find out what device you have.

If you have a PC or Laptop from them, google: Dell service tag. The first link should lead you to the dell support website where you can enter your tag.

Now you can download all the Bios updates und drivers you need! Sadly not allways the newest onces

I have the same DELL monitor P2314H and I can not find service tag.

I have read the instruction how to find it but I did not suceed.

 

Anyone could share a pic where the service tag is placed on?

Dell monitors purchased separately don't have a service tag.

Just call Dell. If the automated phone system asks for it, just hit 0. It will get to someone from tech support to help you fix your monitor problem or replace it.
