if the manufacturer is bothered/good they will give you a cable with a monitor

they dont come with video cards

they cost next to nothing you dont have one

 

best bet if you want it with the system asap check the site for the monitor your buying, if it isnt on there and you want a dvi cable when u get the monitor buy one on amazon for like £2-5 i think thats $3-6

Generally they would come with the monitor.  Just go to the product page details of the monitor you are buying, they usually list the package contents, and if not, they will usually have a picture that shows everything it comes with, and you can look to see if there is a DVI cable.
