That's rather expensive RAM. Have you considered the Night Hawk RGB?

Change the SSD to the SL308 or MX300.

You can get cheaper 1TB HDDs. Alternatively, get a 2TB drive for not much more.

The Phanteks P300 is a great case for around the same price.

The SP isn't a great fan. But if it's just for the RGB, I guess it's fine. The Thermaltake Riing fans cost a bit less.

:)

how will you control those sp120's?

i have 5 of those, and i made the stupid mistake of thinking that i could control them with the controller that comes with it, but that's just for the lights.

so unless your motherboard has 3 spare fan headers on it you will need a fan controller.

Instead of the Corsair fans, you might consider Cooler Master - MasterFan Pro 120 Air Flow RGB 48.8 CFM 120mm Fan which are Aura Sync compatible and could be controlled from the motherboard.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I already have a 2 TB external so I don't see the need in a bigger one.

How do you plan to control the SP120s, just manual?

I will consider this I was thinking of maybe getting the NZXT AER 3 pack but I'll look at those.

I know they kinda are expensive I just really am a sucker for the aesthetic and my dad is paying for it, I did look at them and the Corsair RGB ram but i wanted the Aura sync.

Pretty much everyone OK I will get a fan controller or different fans and a controller.

Why get a fan controller when the motherboard comes with excellent fan control software that integrates with the numerous onboard fan headers and temperature sensors?

He was talking about the SP120s specifically. They do not work w/ Aura or any standard 4 pin. They need a node pro or commander pro to use software to control them. Same w/ the NZXT & Thermaltake fans. Proprietary controllers.

I thought he was talking about airflow control rather than the lighting. Asus fan headers can handle both 3-pin and 4-pin fans.

Oh yeah, fan control is a different matter. Just referencing RGB connectivity.

Sounds like you should get Aura capable fans rather than getting stuck in an ecosystem if you want to sync all the items.
