I am having a problem with Speedstep. Even with EIST and C states on on in the BIOS and with Windows set to balanced power plan, CPU-Z and RealtempGT show that my CPU is running at full speed constantly, even at idle. I have an Asus X99 Deluxe motherboard and i7 6850k CPU. I tried resetting and updating the BIOS and I tried installing Windows on another drive and I still have the same issue. Please help, I don't want to wear out my CPU or VRMs faster from Speedstep not working. Please help.
