How to lock CPU frequency

your asking if you can overclock a non overclockable chip so no you can lock your processor to a specific frequency. you can change your base clock to give you a slight overclock but you will not be able to get to 3.8Ghz. is that better????

CPU: i5-3570 (non-k)

Motherboard: Asus H61M-PLUS (Latest Bios)

 

I want to lock the frequency to 3.8Ghz. However, not only do I completely ignore hot to do that, I'm unsure if I can even lock the frequency to 3.8Ghz because of my current chip-set. Hence me posting this.

thats not an overclockable chip so regardless of your motherboard im going to say no
