What do I do with extra thermal paste?

I bought thermal paste in case my aftermarket cooler didn't come with any, and it did.  Now I have a lot of grease and nothing to apply it to.  Are there any household appliances or any other parts of my computer than can benefit from it

You should repaste your CPU every year or two, same with the GPU. Aside from that, nothing much.

Well if you have some random electronics that get hot and you have some heat sinks you can zip tie to them, you could always use the paste in between there...

would i see any benefit from pasting my GPU with Noctua paste?  

 

the card is exposed and i'm afraid of breaking it whenever i hold it

Barely, if any at all as the 1060 isn't overly hot.

If the GPU had crap paste on it or it hasn't been replaced for over a year, then you could see a couple of degree drop.

Are you sure that you don't want to make your microwave a microwave gun before doing that?

Just save it. Paste will be good for 3-5 years anyway and you never know when you need to remount cooler. Or build something for a friend (NT-1 > Intel stock).
