Poweredge 2950 for Plex?

I came across a Poweredge 2950 on Craigslist and I was wondering if it is powerful enough to run as a Plex server. It sports two Xeon E5345 's. 

 

I know these are old but say I pick this up for ~$40 do you think it would be good enough?

I have a PE 2900, bear in mind, they are LOUD, and power hungry. They were designed as servers, so stability and quality come first, quietness, not so much.

Plus parts can be expensive if you are not careful.

At full trot, they'll consume 600 watts an hour, which WILL make a difference in your electric bill...
