Nexus 6P Volume Problem

Hey guys, so when I restart my phone my volume buttons will work for maybe five minutes if that then suddenly my volume buttons will stop working I've dealt with this probably for 2 weeks now its gotten to the point where I've had to install a on screen volume button its now getting to the point where it's really annoying my phone is also up to date... does anyone know a fix?

Enable them in music settings if you're on an iPhone.
