Quick question about system fan headers

When MBO specs show something like this-

does that mean that the W_PUMP connector can also serve as a normal air PWM fan connector, so in effect it would have 3 chassis PWM fan connectors?

Check the manual to see if the water pump's speed can also be edited depending on temperature, and what percentages it'll run. 

Some pump headers don't actually do PWM despite having 4 pins.  Some don't even do voltage regulation either, meaning that the fan would run at 100% all the time.

 

Contact the manufacturer if necessary, they'll know that for sure.

This is an Asus motherboard, you can't contact the manufacturer...it doesn't work that way.
