What to do?

Hey everyone

 

Recently I asked for recommendation on a new rig and it was awesome, I know what I am getting but also the price for that is about 1k which is not bad for a decent rig for web development and programming. However someone gifted me a MBP mid 2010 and I was wonder if I should upgrade the ram and ssd or if its not even worse it considering the shitting proc that it has. I will attach a picture of the machine any feedback would be appreciated.

I'd definitely upgrade the RAM and give it an SSD, and it shouldn't be too bad for most basic things.

It should be fine already, but if you really start seeing it lag behind, then add another 4
