Does anyone have any recommendations for how to calibrate this monitor? The left side seems to be slightly yellower than the right side which seems more white. It is brand new out of the box. Help with how to make it look its best?

You can't really do anything calibration wise about uniformity issues.

Might be a factory fault if its that noticeable. There aren't calibration options on consumer grade panels as far as i know, without using an external calibrator. Factory settings is the only thing close to that really.

RMA may be your only option if it bugs/is noticeable you that much.

Shame, I have a U2412M, brilliant panel. But then again, silicone lottery can still be a bitch, no matter how much QA. :L

No they are perfectly fine with replacements.

They will send a new one out within 2 business days or next day and pick the old one up at the same time.

Just be polite on the phone :)

Dell have been exceptionally helpful with all my families problems they have routed through me in the past. I personally have never had to replace a Dell product and really love there stuff. I really do wonder how my family get through so many damn computers!

Most of the time they just arranged a time and an engineer came out to the house and fixed the machines (motherboard faults, etc..) stuff that I couldn't easily do in my free time.
