I am having a problem with my headset and my voice being super quiet when talking to friends. Whenever I am talking with my friends on discord, they have told me my voice is extremely quiet, almost inaudible. This has been happening for just over a week now and I'm not sure what to do. My sound is unaffected, its just my microphone. I have updated all my drivers, ensured the BIOS was up to date, and even moved the mic and headset plugs from the case, to the motherboard and back in every configuration possible and nothing has changed. I have tried using other headphones but they are also affected. I thought about getting a usb microphone (such as a blue snowball) or a sound card but I don't know if it will work out.

These are my PC specs:

- Ryzen 5 1500x @3.8ghz (overclocked)

- MSI b350m gaming pro micro atx motherboard

- EVGA GTX 1050ti graphics card

- WD blue 1TB hard drive

- G.skill Aegis 1x8gb DDR4-2400 ram

- Deepcool Kendomen mid tower case (what I plug my headphones into because the motherboard won't detect it)

- EVGA 450w power supply

- Razer Kraken Pro Headphones (headphones themselves work fine. Mic is very quiet)

- Windows 10 64bit

For months I had no issues with my mic or my headset but I can't seen to solve the problem and I am hesitant to buy a usb microphone or a sound card because I'm not sure it will solve the problem but I am willing to try it.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Using my audio driver, I just added 30db to mine and it works fine now.
