Possibly Do-able?

Another thing is that I want to program my own bios chip and keep the original one.

Flash a custom BIOS on an existing chip?  Or make a custom BIOS chip to put on a motherboard?

here's an example, something you would benefit in an enterprise setting.  Instead of a PCIE card host and slave BUS adapters you can switch out the chips (BIOS chips, not doritos. lol.)

1.)  PCIE interface #1:  Enable as Backplane

Description:   Use motherboard as a backplane for host computers as well as

a co-processor for host operating systems.

2.)  PCIE interface #2:  Enable as host computer.  (normal)

Sounds interesting, not sure how difficult that will be.  If you are using a UEFI BIOS then these may be helpful.

perhaps.   Don't get me wrong, I could go with freon based cooling (refrigerant) and air cooling but I want to get to 4.0GHz without my room being too toasty.

Then again, it's winter.. most people would kill to get wood to keep themselves warm. :/   damn, I should've thought that part out earlier. lol. :P

Personally, I'd go with normal air cooling and then just open a window slightly to keep the room at a good temperature, balancing letting in cold air from outside and the heat provided by the PC.  Seems simple enough.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Well, yes, there would be a pump.  There's always a pump in water cooling setups.

indeed.

Hmmm... if you had to cool 11 GPU's (CPU included) in a room that has roughly 1,728 cubic feet of air, would you go with air or liquid?  Or the method that linus used for the computers being connected to a central loop?

hmmm... if it weren't for the icicles in my room's ceilings I would say yes.

Who in the right mind wants to open their window during winter?

*crickets*

Nobody. lol.

Linus's whole room water cooling was more than a little flawed xD I would not recommend anyone attempt to replicate it.  Honestly, the choice of liquid or air is just a "local" decision about how to keep the PCs cool (ie, getting heat from their parts into your room).  The next step (getting the hot air from your room out of it) seems like it should be as easy as opening a window.

I do it all the time, when it's -30 you need strikingly little airflow to keep things comfortable lol

hmmm... it's going to be one hell of  a solution but should I route like an air pipe to suck the cold air through the rad and route the cold air back out so that the computer can still be cooled and I can stay warm.

Peace and tranquility - Zenyatta.

As I said before, if you pass air that's below the ambient temp of your room through the rad, you risk creating a situation where condensation will form on the tubing and any of the components that are being cooled.  Check the link in my sig to see more about how this works.

If you really don't want to open a window for whatever reason, you could just run the AC I guess lol seems silly to do that in the winter but it would be effective xD

You'll have to check what your options are, what ISPs are available, what plans they offer, etc.  Satellite is available in more places since it's easy but your lag / ping would probably be unusable for any online gaming.

In this case:

ISP options for:  Crestline, CA

Verizon - DSL (possibly Cable) (DSL speed 14Mbps MAX)

COMCAST - Cable internet (100Mbps MAX)

that comcast line looks a lot better obviously.  You'd have to consider the price though, and also since most american ISPs are pure evil, check reviews to see what service, reliability, and typical speeds are like, since advertised maximums may not be something you can expect to hit regularly.

Not to mention data caps.

True.

And as far as I do know, COMCAST is... well, a little more reliable than frickin' Dish.

ugh.. the Hopper isn't my thing.

And the connection times out every time giving me a good 146 ms average ping.

For Verizon FIOS (or just cable internet)  I have an average ping of 23 ms.  So that's gud (good.)

Personal experience: Cable>DSL

This is especially true if you are living somewhere remote, after all, the farther you are from the providers building, the slower it is.

On a slightly unrelated note (or possibly related).  Were you planning on using rubbing alcohol?

This is NOT the perfect alcohol for the perfect occasion.  But it's a high percentage.  Also, it's illegal to sell in many states.  Not illegal to own though.

damn... now that's a loophole isn't it?

A huge one, even in states where it's legal, it's hard to find (you a lot of times have to specifically ask for it).  The main reason that it is illegal to sell in many states, is because many have overdosed on it and died.  Apparently some people have no self control...

It tastes real nasty by itself, but is a great base for making your own spirits.

Seriously?

No wonder.  A bunch of whiny and emotional Liberal pricks like to make stupid laws like this one just so they can limit what we can and can't do with our resources.

We blame the drivers for accidents and not the cars, yet we blame the guns rather than the guy with the gun.

What has humanity come to now?

New York, New Hampshire, Nevada, California, Ohio, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan,Hawaii, Iowa, Minnesota and North Carolina are all of the states where it's illegal to sell Everclear.

Some of those states are quite liberal (California).  But yeah, while I don't like to see anyone die, I also don't like stupid laws made that restrict what I can purchase, because someone was an idiot.

Yeah..

And don't get me started on what those Little Snowflakes think what "Feminism" is..
Feminism is DEAD.   Feminism is a cult.

All it is, just a bunch of autistic screeching.

But now that I think about it, Google, Youtube and a few other companies are going to do what SJWs do:

Censor and regulate comments and content like an overprotective christian parent.

Monetization on Youtube?   BAH!  Screw that, Patreon thank you.

If you look up JayTechTV and CrapGamer on Youtube, you'll see how cancerous their "console is superior and pc is shit" arguments.   Even Phil Spencer Roasted Crapgamer and put him in his place. lol.

JayTech: "Too bad PCs can't have our PlayStation exclusives"

Me:  "Hey!  Fucktard, there's something called:  Playstation Now, you know:   Stream PS games to the PC?.. ring any bells?"

(pardon my french, I am really annoyed by those two idiots alone.)

I admire Rags, FritangaPlays, TopHats and Champagne, Blunty, and that other one that I forgot.. (lol)

for gaming and the "PC master race"  (praise Gaben)

I admire Undoomed for his responses to idiot snowflakes on youtube, tumblr, twitter and 4chan.. Here:

PC Master race is an example of Satire..

Also, poptarts.. cuz why not?  :P

I don't dislike the concept of feminism, and there are many that embrace that concept without being assholes.  But the ones that hate men just because, are the loudest, and thus the most visible.

The coolest mod I seen for any console is the external wired controller mod for the PSP.

Then there's the external controller for nintendo DS.     Both which are awesome. :)

Hell, I even got started on designing a handheld portable version of the PS3 Super Slim system!  :)

That seems pretty neat, would make the handheld less portable though.
