No, while some AM socket stuff is inter compatible, to the best of my knowledge FM and AM sockets are not compatible.

i thought so until i started seeing people around the web say they fit am2 into am3 sockets but i myself have done it

another question if you dont mind. someone was saying a fx-4130 fit into a am3 socket, can that be possible?

depends on the board, some older AM3 boards had the extra pins needed to work with AM3+ CPUs added. Some did not. Most good boards work.
