upgading a pre-built pc

I just bought an hp 6300 pro and wanted to upgrade it with a gtx 1050ti, some more ram and a bigger hdd will the stock 240w power supply be able to comfortable support the system or will i need to get a bigger one.

Should be as long as you get a pcie only powered graphics card

It won't have no pins in the top for the power supply connection. If you still can't tell post a picture or link to the card you want to install

That one does not need any extra power from cables. Recommended PSU is 300w, but 240w should be enough as long as you do not do any OCing.

The PSU is enough for this card as it draws its power directly from the PCIE slot on the motherboard.
