Ok so I just got a used PL1711m monitor and I went to plug it in and then my computer screen pops up, it's very dim and after a few seconds it goes out then when I unplug it from my computer the no signal thing pops up again with the same problems as the screen.

Also I have an AOC 2019Sw1 but for some reason either the screen is too big for the monitor, too small or it stretches the screen out.

If you could help with either of these it would be very much appreciated also I am using an amd card and it's working fine with other monitors I've tried and please don't just come here to say "it's a lost cause" or anything like that.

Thanks

For the PL1711m, is the power supply external or internal? If external, maybe try another one. For the AOC, have you tried changing your resolution settings in your OS?

The power supply is internal and I have tried changing the restitution

The back light might be damaged on the PL1711m then. What about using a different cable for the AOC?

Ok I just plugged in a different cable and it's still wonky, could it have something to do with the fact that my second monitor is more square and this one is rectangle? aspect ration stuff?

You can set the resolution to the native one on each of the displays independently, so it should look correct if you set it to the native one.

I tried that and even the recommended restitution on the monitor results in wonky results
