UAC Triggering Dedicated GPU

Go to solution Solved by Goobla,

That did work, but I tried the preview of the RTM of the Fall's update, and it fixes this issue. Now to wait until October 17th...

Hello there.

I have a Acer Helios 300, and it has both a Intel GPU and a dedicated GTX 1060. What's weird about it, is that when I use a program the requests something from Window's UAC, it uses the dedicated GPU instead of the Intel one, causing stuttering issues. I know people off other websites have experience this issue, but I was wondering if I can make UAC not trigger the dedicated GPU? I don't really want to put UAC to less safe settings, but I will if there's no solution.

I know with windows 8 at least, you could lower the slider on UAC's "annoyance level" low enough to not dim the screen when it pops up. Does that make a difference?
