Hello all :)

I am currently happy with my rig, but there is two things I want to improve: Get a 4K IPS monitor and get 2 880s in SLI.

I can't get the 880s yet of course so does anyone know/what do you guys think about when the first G-Sync 4K monitor/G-Sync compatible monitors will hit the market? :)

Let the discussion begin or the links fly if this has already been answered/discussed :)

Well that is a effective way to kill of my exitement...

Any news on the first 4K IPS monitors at around 1000 USD then? I saw something about a Dell monitor here somewhere, but I can't find it and I think that was a 24 inch monitor whereas I kind of want a 27 inch monitor...

Any advice?

So yeh

umm yes gsync does support IPS panels, there is no reason for it not to. It also supports 4K already afaik, so I don't see why it should take very long at all to be honest.

Nothing has been said about it working on IPS/VA.

It could be in future, maybe....doubt it though...

I think they said it somewhere in this video that it isn't limited to TN:

I'll edit my post if I find out where it was said

EDIT: Found it, video starts at the desired point.

Tom Petersen:"There is nothing about the gsync technology that is related to a monitoir res. If you think about it our module is designed to work with many different panel resolutions and it has a programmable portion that will allow us to configure that module to understand multiple different panels.
